We use independent shipping contractors such as Purolator, UPS, FedEx and various commercial trucking companies. When an order arrives you to will need to sign for the delivery. Please make sure that the package is delivered in good condition. Before signing, inspect the package closely. If there is any visible damage the customer has the right to open it to inspect the contents. If there is damage to the shipment, then you must refuse the package and contact Solar Gain Inc immediately.
All equipment which can ship via courier includes free shipping. For remote locations and post office boxes, clients will be required to pick up at the nearest courier depot.
Equipment, such as batteries and solar panels, which requires palatalization and freight shipping will be subject to freight charges. All freight shipments require a shipping estimate before purchasing.
Merchandise, except for products that were specially ordered for the customer, may be returned within 30 days of the receipt of the product.
Before returning items, please call and speak with a sales representative. Once you have been instructed where to return the item, you are responsible for shipping charges back to that address. This will be valid for 30 days from date of receipt. The Customer shall be responsible for the return of any unused product and agrees to use only reputable carriers capable of providing proof of delivery and insurance for the value of the shipment.
You will receive a refund or credit towards your account, provided the merchandise is returned in the original packaging, in new and resalable condition. Please make sure all material is included such as warranty cards, manuals, and accessories. If any component of the returned product is missing, the return procedure is breached and Solar Gain Inc may reject the return or may choose to impose additional charges for replacement of the missing component.
A 15% to 30% (depending on product) distributor restocking fee will be charged for all returns without due cause. Shipping charges are not refundable.
Items under warranty are at the sole discretion of the manufacturer. If return(s) is regarding a manufacturer’s warranty issue please contact the applicable manufacturer/insurer on the warranty card.
